Inaugurated by Shri. K. K. Gupta, the Mayor of Dungarpur and the Brand Ambassador of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Rajasthan, nearly 200 volunteers comprising of students and local citizens executed the drive from Sukhadia Circle. Catching the attention of the participants over the 1.5 km stretch till Fateh Sagar Pal was an exhibition of colourful, captivating posters on the theme contributed by school students, whose creative entries in the ‘Make the Best Out of Waste’ competition were lauded by all.
The cultural programme conducted at Fateh Sagar Pal showcased vibrant performances by Octaves- the music club of IIM Udaipur, and FootworX- the dance club. The proceedings concluded with a thought-provoking street play organised by Live Puppets, raising concerns over the passivity of Indians towards cleanliness in the society.
