Prof. Ram Gopal speaks about the use of analytics in the case of add-on products to the main product, and to link it to a demand in a given location. This is a case for analytics in supply chain management to identify locations for add-on products.
This is based on Prof. Gopal’s research paper that was authored with two other researchers in production and operations management journal. The title of the research paper is ‘Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics Location Selection of Add-on Retail Products’.
