Profile

My name is Debika Ghosh and I come from Kolkata. I have completed my BSc in Statistics from Lady Brabourne College and an MSc in Statistics from University of Kalyani, West Bengal. My long term goal includes conducting good quality research, primarily in statistical methodology and explore its applications across different disciplines.
I also wish to develop an expertise in the area of statistical computing through research. In my leisure hours, I enjoy reading books, listening to music and travelling. Apart from that, being in close contact with nature and animals makes me very happy.

Research interest

My research interest broadly includes time series analysis, Bayesian inference, robust statistical inference and high dimensional statistics.
