‘Digital’ has become the way of being – business enterprises, government organisations, start-up and the society at large are already on the digital wave – internet, mobile connectivity, interconnected devices etc. are giving rise to new experiences and opportunities and in conjunction with emerging technologies like AI, Quantum Computing, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, are reshaping the future at speed and scale.
The Centre for Digital Enterprise (CDE) was created with the purpose of developing managerial, leadership and entrepreneurial capabilities for the Digital world. The world in which rapid and tectonic changes are a norm and agility, adaptability and multi-disciplinary thinking are the essential skills for survival.
CDE is in the forefront of such a progressive work and with its industry focus, is able to stitch new courses and structure the curriculum that is relevant and interesting to the ecosystem of students, faculty, researchers and industry.
The role of IIMU's Centre for Digital Enterprise (CDE) is to create and sustain a dynamic environment for thought leadership in ‘Digital’ Towards that CDE works closely with the industry to create new initiatives and partnerships, with government entities to explore research opportunities and developing policies for the Digital way of being. It also works to position the institute as a ‘Thought Leader in Digital’ by conducting events and programmes that attract the best of minds to participate and interact.
Industry collaborations form the bedrock of relevant knowledge creation and dissemination in an emerging field. CDE works closely with thought leaders to structure programmes, update contents, secure application oriented real-life projects for students to work on, and explore possibilities for research oriented engagements.
To develop cases and other materials relating to digital enterprise to help fill an increasing need in this area.
