• An independent educator and consultant, serving as an Adjunct Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur), with a distinguished career in business transformation consulting across IT Services Strategy & Operations and Business Consulting. Holds an MBA and Executive Fellow in Management (DBA) and PGP (MBA) from the Indian School of Business.
• As an applied deep tech researcher, Prof. Shankar focuses on the intersection of deep tech and business management, extensively utilizing AI/ML pipelines with both neural networks and classical rule-based techniques for knowledge synthesis. His research interests encompass strategies to accelerate the adoption of deep technologies in core industries, impact of deep tech on business models and exploring their impact on the Future of Work.
• Prof. Shankar Prakash teaches courses in Artificial Intelligence, Future of Work, Internet of Things, Blockchain, and Digital Transformation, to MBA students, and Practising Managers.
• With over 20 years of industry experience, he has worked with prominent organizations, including IBM, Ernst & Young, Wipro, Microland, Bangalore Labs, and Brakes India (TVS Group). His work spans various sectors such as telecommunications, banking, travel and transportation, IT/ITES, and utilities, delivering solutions that drive value across diverse industries.

A business transformation professional with 20 years of work experience spanning IT service operations, digital operations and supply chain, and service automation. He has worked with IBM for over 11 years and prior to that, has a diverse work experience including with Ernst & Young, Wipro and Brakes India (TVS Group).
