I have over two decades of management and leadership experience with organizations such as SAGE, Vodafone and Oxford University Press. A PhD in Management from the Swiss Management Centre (SMC) University, Switzerland, I am also a children’s book author and an award winning researcher.

• Conducting corporate workshops on Effective Writing, Report Writing and Proposal Writing.
• Content creation and curation for school curriculum in subjects such as Mathematics, General Knowledge, English and Science.

Associate Vice President – Commissioning (Books) November 2016 – September 2022

• Managed a revenue stream of INR 240 million of the academic and professional books business of SAGE India.
• Created and managed a new open access revenue growth driver (SAGE Spectrum) with annual revenues of INR 7 million.
• Led and trained a team of 8 specialists.
• Closely worked with IIM directors on individual projects and boo.
• As part of the Senior Management Group, provided strategic leadership and helped in evolving the business strategy for SAGE in India.

Oxford University Press India

Senior Manager – Editorial, Higher Education July 2005–December 2015

• Managed the complete HE textbook business with a revenue of INR 200 million.
• Mentored and managed a team of 28 to commission and publish in the areas of management, hotel management and engineering.

Hutchison Essar Telecom Ltd. (Vodafone)

Assistant Manager – Written Communication team Dec 2001 – Nov 2004

• Trained, mentored and led a team of 20 members; ensured timely responses to all customer complaints, requests and queries; drafted branding communication; worked on the team that oversaw the brand shift from Hutch to Vodafone

• Recipient of Best Paper award for ‘Winning Marketing and Business Strategies in a Highly Competitive and Globalized Economic Environment’ presented in the National Conference on Marketing held at Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bangalore in 2021.
• Published a paper on Impact of Work from Home on Women in the Formal Sector: A Qualitative Analysis using IPA in the PAN IIM World Management International Conference held in IIM Kozhikode in Dec 2021. It was published in the Proceedings eBook of PAN IIM WMC 2021.
• Children’s fiction, Manu and Mia, published in 2022 by Notion Press.
• Knowledge Horizon (a series of 8 GK books for classes 1-8) published by Mangrove Publications in 2022.
