P S Lakshman is an adjunct faculty at IIMB teaching a course on ‘Practicing Innovation with Design Thinking and BMI’ and has been the Head of Innovation for SAP Consulting and is an acknowledged global expert in Innovation using Design Thinking, Business Model Innovation and Lean Startup approaches.
His practice at SAP included global large and medium firms, where the process of innovation using design thinking and empathy was run over multiple cycles of creative ideation, prototyping, marketing validation, and further scaling up of products and services.
He has been part of the teaching team for several years at the Hasso Plattner Institute’s d.School, Germany, which is one of the two places along with the Stanford D-School where Design Thinking as a full-fledged course offering for students and companies was developed.
