IIMU Welcomes Prof. Ramaswamy Chandrasekaran

IIM Udaipur regularly invites esteemed senior academics from India and abroad to spend varying lengths of time on campus as Scholars in Residence.  These prominent scholars give seminars, work on research projects, and engage in various exchanges with IIMU faculty members.

Currently, we are pleased to welcome Prof. R. Chandrasekaran.  He is the Ashbel Smith Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at Dallas (UT Dallas). Prof. Chandrasekaran's research interests include combinatorial optimization, scheduling, computational geometry, telecommunications and mathematical programming. His research has been published in prestigious journals including Discrete Optimization and Ad Hoc Networks and he has presented at conferences including ICDCN (International Conference on Distributed Computing and Networking) and ICDCS (International Conference on Distributed Computing and Systems).

Prof. Chandrasekaran holds a PhD in Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley.
