IIM Udaipur in association with the Harvard Business School Club of India hosted the Inclusive India Forum on 26th July- 2014 at the IIMU campus.
We strongly believe that the corporate and social sectors complement each other – the corporate sector brings a wealth of knowledge in systems, financial management and business environment while the social sector has the knowledge and skill-set to interact with the local communities especially at the grassroots level for mass mobilizationwork, leading tosocial and economic transformation. However, corporates need to develop a more detailed perspective on the social sector for a better understanding of the roles and expectations of the corporate sector. This forum is an attempt to provide a platform so that corporates and voluntary agencies with matching value systems and ideologies can come together and have a dialogue, facilitating a mutually beneficial complementary partnership. A synergistic successful relationship will ensure that social capital can be utilized in the best manner possible to reap the maximum possible social returns for existing and hitherto unreached segments of society.
