IIM Udaipur's 7th annual convocation is going to take place on Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at 6 pm in the Balicha campus.
Mr Harsh Pati Singhania, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of JK Paper Ltd, will be the chief guest for the event. Mr Singhania, 56, MBA from the University of Massachusetts and OPM from Harvard Business School, USA belongs to one of India's largest industrial groups - JK Organisation. The Group's business includes manufacturing of Paper & Boards, Cement, Automobile Tyres, V-Belts, Oil Seals, Hybrid Seeds, Dairy products, Defence, Aerospace & Security, Textiles and operations in Clinical Research, Insurance Brokerage, Health Care, Education, etc with a turnover of around USD 4 billion.
Mr Singhania has served on various Industry bodies as President, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry, International Chamber of Commerce (India), Indian Paper Manufacturers Association, Young Presidents Organisation-Delhi, and as a Member of the Board of Indo-British Partnership, Indo-French CEOs Forum, Indo-China CEOs Forum, National Integration Council, Regional Council of International Baccalaureate, UK-India Business Leaders Climate Group, Government-Industry Task Force, ASEAN-India Business Council, Board of Governors of International Management Institute, Board of Management - JK Lakshmipat University, and Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver, Renal & Digestive Diseases (PSRI), Member of India-Myanmar Joint Trade and Investment Forum and India-Pakistan Joint Business Forum.
