Prof. Vikram Desai would present a research seminar on June 15th from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm. The title of the seminar is "How do Auditors Issue Going Concern Opinions? A Dynamic model using Belief Functions; Evidence from 2004 to 2015”
Prof. Desai has earned his PhD in Accounting at University of Central Florida, and graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Masters in Business Administration. He went on to work as an Auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP at the headquarters office in NYC. He has also worked in Deloitte & Touche, LLP for two years. After that, he went on to work for Pepsi Bottling Group in the Internal Audit Department for two more years. His area of interest is in audit markets, corporate governance, and internal auditing.
