"More and more disruptions in supply chains across the globe are making the supply chain resilient, visible, and sustainable."
The above represents the theme of the GS1 US hackathon: breaking the bottleneck where 4689 teams participated across the globe. A group of four students, Shankar, Suhail, Udhay, and Yadu, from the current GSCM Batch, won the first prize. They did a project entitled "Shortening the Supply chain through location data analytics." They created a solution that optimized location information to enable an efficient delivery network through improved supply chain visibility. The team bagged first place, winning a cash prize of US$ 8000.
IIMU community congratulates the winning team and wishes them a very bright future. You have made us feel proud of your remarkable achievement. It is a proud moment for the Batch, faculty, alumni, and institute. We are sure this will motivate you to aim higher.
