Mr. Anil G. Verma, Executive Director & President of Godrej and Boyce interacted with the students of IIM Udaipur as a part of Netratva - the Leadership Talk Series on 20th July 2019. He shared the journey of Godrej in India, which began with making locks to partnering with ISRO and building components for India's Mars Mission.
He spoke about how entrepreneurs have a gut feeling and rely on their instinct about businesses and how managers complement them with their analytical skills. Lastly, he advised the students to understand what success meant to them and told that it's the EQ and not the IQ that wins.
