Ms. Asavari Moon, Global Marketing Leader, Loreal Australia, and Mr. Deshraj Bhatt, AVP Sales, Tech Mahindra Australia, were the distinguished speakers for the recent Netratva, the Leadership Talk Series, held on 5th March.
Ms. Moon talked about her journey on what led her to become an international marketeer and an entrepreneur. She shared the cultural influences and values she experienced while working across various organizations and countries. In this interactive session, she also encouraged students to keep taking challenges since anything can act as a career growth catalyst. Her talk concluded with a mention of how COVID-19 was a call for digital transformation, especially in marketing.
Mr. Bhatt, who continued the talk, apprised the students on different global career options in IT post-MBA and his career journey. He stated the importance of assessing one's personality before deciding on a career option. The session ended with a QnA with the students, which ranged from the importance of cultural sensitivity to pioneering new ways to work online in IT sales in the Covid era.
