Spandan ’19 - The Annual HR Conclave was organized by Team dHRuva – The HR Club of IIM Udaipur and sponsored by Secure Meters on 15th June, with the idea of highlighting the importance of human beings in this world of growing technology and innovation. The theme for this year’s conclave was “Competitive Advantage with a Human Dimension”. In alignment with this theme, the following topics were covered:

In relevance to the theme, the speakers shared their experiences, success stories and the imminent challenges in their respective industries.
The event kicked off with an opening note by Prof. Janat Shah, followed by the panel 1 presentations by Ms. Anita Guha, Mr. Colin Mendes, Ms. Rajeshwari Aradhyula and Mr. Jatinder Salwan on the topic “Ethics in Artificial Intelligence”. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion. The panel discussion was moderated by Meena Kumari and Shubhangi Sharma.
The event proceeded with presentations by Mr. Manmohan Kalsy, Ms. Shilpi Saxena and Mr. Yogesh Kumar Sharma on the topic “HRM practices and Modern Slavery”. The presentations were followed by a panel discussion. The panel discussion was moderated by Vanshika Agarwal and Varshika.
The session resumed after lunch, with a panel discussion on the topic Green HRM, graced by Mr. Madhav Vamsi and Ms. Meetu Bhudolia. The discussion was moderated by Shwet Nisha. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculties, PGP 2018-20, FPM students, guests from Secure Meters and State Bank of India. The event was hosted by Mohammed Shahbaaz and Nirmala Hembram.
The event culminated with the launch of the Annual HR Magazine – Kathan.
