Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIM Udaipur) is one of the fastest-growing management schools in the country. It has already achieved global rankings and accreditation, putting it alongside or ahead of many B-schools established much earlier. Taking the legacy of older IIMs forward, IIMU aspires to set new benchmarks in management education by combining excellence in teaching and research. The research-led centre at IIMU, the Centre for Healthcare, was conceptualized in early 2020 to fill the gap of rigorous healthcare research in India on the Indian context from the management lens. Its objective is to bring together academicians from management, public health, practitioners, and research-active medical professionals to understand and solve fundamental issues in healthcare in low and middle-income countries (LMIC).
