Eligibility

Candidates should fulfill both the work experience requirement and academic eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Work Experience Requirements: Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of full-time work experience as on June 30th, 2025
• Academic Eligibility:

  Candidates are required to fulfil one of the following academic eligibility criteria:

  • A 1-year/2-semester master's degree program after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree program or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree program after a 3-year bachelor’s degree program or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. This cutoff is 50% marks for applicants from SC/ST/PwD/NC-OBC/EWS categories.
  • A five-year Integrated Master’s degree (obtained after completing higher secondary schooling in 10+2 pattern) in any discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. This cutoff is 50% marks for applicants from SC/ST/PwD/NC-OBC/EWS categories.
  • A professional qualification (completed) such as CA(ICAI)/CMA/CS with a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. This cutoff is 45% marks for applicants from SC/ST/PwD/NC-OBC/EWS categories.
  • A 4-year/8-semester Bachelor's degree with an equivalent of 65% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade on a point scale wherever the grading system is followed. This cutoff is 60% marks for applicants from SC/ST/PwD/NC-OBC/EWS categories.

Note 1: The Master's degree or equivalent qualification/Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification required for the IIM Udaipur’s executive PhD eligibility should be:

• from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act, 1956; or
• recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India or
• possess an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

Note 2: The Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing Higher Secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.

Note 3: If only the CGPA is available in place of graduation percentage, it will be converted into equivalent percentage as per the conversion formula/norms provided by the Board/University/Institution. In case a conversion formula is not provided by the University/Institution, the equivalence would be established by computing the percentage of the candidate’s CGPA against the maximum CGPA to establish the candidate’s aggregate percentage.

Note 4: The Institute will follow the Government of India's reservation policy for EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD.

Admission Process

• Submit Application Form – Complete and submit the online application form and pay non-refundable application fee of Rs 3000/-
• Profile & Document Screening – Evaluation of your academic and professional background based on your application.
• IIMU Test – You must have a valid GMAT/GMAT (Focus) or GRE score (not older than 5 years from the exam date) or a CAT score from 2021 or later. If you do not have any of these, you can appear for the IIMU Test conducted by IIM Udaipur.
• Personal Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview.
• Offer Announcement – Offer of Admissions will be released.

Commitment Fee

A candidate receiving an admission offer from IIM Udaipur and accepting the offer within the stipulated date needs to send along with Offer Acceptance the Commitment Fee, a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- which is non-refundable.
