In the EPhD Program of IIM Udaipur, students can choose to specialise in one of the following four areas after admission:

First Year

Notes:

• All courses in Semester 0 are compulsory.
• Semester 0 will be entirely conducted via online interactive learning mode.
• The Semesters 1, 2, and 4 will be conducted on campus at IIM Udaipur via 2-week long residencies each.
• The Semester 3 will include back-to-back 9 days in-person immersion at Fox School of Business campus in Philadelphia, USA, followed by a 1-week on campus residency at IIM Udaipur.

Third Year

The EPhD student will solely focus on Thesis work under the supervision of the thesis advisory committee (TAC) which is headed by the TAC Chairperson.

Notes:

• The dissertation is expected to be completed by the end of Year 3.
• Special provisions to extend the program to Year 4.
• The maximum time for completion is five years.
