• IIM Udaipur's GSCM program is a 12-month full-time MBA program for experienced professionals. It is focused on Global Supply Chain Management. To develop tomorrow's business leaders, IIM Udaipur is seeking candidates with at least three years of work experience for this program.

• IIM Udaipur and other IIMs are working together to address the Ministry of Education's concerns related to the one-year MBA programs. Depending on this engagement, the final structure of the program (Degree/Diploma) will be decided.
• As per current practice, IIMU offers an MBA degree in the GSCM program.

• There is no summer internship as a part of the GSCM program.

• Some elective courses are offered that are common to the one-year and two-year MBA programs.

• Research activities are part of the research program. The one-year program is packed with learning and co-curricular activities, leaving little time to engage in serious research on which the faculty will be working.

• The teaching mode will depend on the pandemic situation, and the decision will be based on guidelines received from the Central and State Governments. Currently, classes are held on campus in person for the current batch.

• It is a full-time, residential program for professionals with at least three years of work experience.

• IIMU provides campus placement opportunities to candidates from all programs. IIMU's corporate relations team of dedicated professionals oversees the recruitment process for all programs. Under their supervision, each program's student corporate relations committee facilitates all interactions with the companies. The dates and other modalities for the recruitment process vary for the different programs.

• Placements for the GSCM program typically begin in October. Companies have the option to conduct pre-placement presentations starting in September.

• Prominent recruiters have recruited students from the GSCM program for various roles in Analytics, Consulting & Strategy, Materials Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management (SCM), Product Management and Sales & Marketing.

• During the 2023 campus recruitment season, the placement program witnessed participation from several prominent organizations, including Accenture Strategy, Accenture Technology, Berger Paints, Bristlecone, Delhivery, DP World, Grant Thornton, Infosys, KPMG, Kraft Heinz, Lumiq, Manhattan Associates, and Orane Consulting Pvt Ltd.
• The majority of the roles offered were in Consulting & Strategy and Supply Chain Management. Additionally, opportunities were available in specialized areas such as Business Architecture, Material Management, Procurement Specialist, and Supply Chain Analytics.
• The average remuneration for the offered positions was Rs. 22.42 lakhs per annum, with the highest salary reaching Rs. 41.20 lakhs per annum. For more detailed information, please refer to the placement reports.

• The offer of admission to the program is provisional in nature until the Institute receives and verifies the official score report.
• Please note that in the case of GMAT (10th Edition)/GMAT (Focus Edition) and GRE, the Institute shall receive the test scorecard from the respective agencies only after 15-20 days from the date of your request on their website to share such scorecards.
• The official GMAT (10th Edition)/GMAT (Focus Edition)/GRE scorecard must be received by IIM Udaipur within one month from the date of letter of admission.

Eligibility

• Candidates with a minimum of 10+2 years of school education and a bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA). Applicants from SC, ST and PwD categories should have a minimum of 45% or equivalent CGPA.
• A minimum three years of bachelor’s level education after completing higher secondary schooling.
• Valid GMAT Exam (10th Edition)/ GMAT Exam (Focus Edition) (Online or Centre based) score, or GRE score (at Centre or at Home), not older than 5 years from the date of the exam, or CAT score of tests taken in 2021 or later.
• Full-time work experience (after graduation) of minimum 36 months as of February 28, 2025.

• Yes, The Institute will follow the Government of India’s reservation policy for EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PWD.

• If you meet the admission criteria, you can apply for the program. You may share the details of your experience with the Admissions Office and seek clarification.

• There are no scholarships available for one-year MBA programs at IIM Udaipur. However, many of the central banks in India provide loans to cover most of the tuition fees and program expenses at IIMs. Details concerning interest rates and other loan conditions should be confirmed directly with the banks.

• The validity period for a GMAT (10th Edition)/GMAT (Focus Edition)/GRE score to apply for the GSCM program is five years. For CAT, scores of tests taken in 2021 or later are valid.

• All the scores are equally valid for admission to the GSCM program. Candidates can submit scores for any of the exams of their choice.

• No, applicants can save their application.

• A Personal Interview is part of the admission process for the GSCM program at IIM Udaipur. Interested candidates must fill out the online application form. Applicants are then shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria and called for the second round, where they are screened through a personal interview.
• Group discussions are not conducted as part of the admission process.

• Admission to the program doesn't require any prior experience in supply chain management.

• Once the offer is made, generally, a candidate has around one to two weeks to accept or decline the admission offer.

• All payments are to be made through online modes of payment, such as internet banking, debit card, credit card etc.

• A candidate who has paid the commitment fee and the first instalment can withdraw from the program only through the online application portal of IIM Udaipur. The first instalment is refundable in full, if the candidate submits the request for withdrawal before the withdrawal deadline, which is March 31, 2025, 11:59 PM. Please note that the withdrawal from the program after this deadline is not permissible. Please also note that the Commitment Fee is non-refundable.

• The refund will be processed on by IIM Udaipur April 30, 2025.

• IIM Udaipur campus occupies 300 acres in Balicha, about 8 km from the centre of Udaipur. The campus has state-of-the-art classrooms and WIFI. Students are provided with air-conditioned accommodation. The campus has a fully equipped gym and other recreational facilities. The master plan for IIM Udaipur's campus has been awarded GRIHA's 5-Star LD rating, the highest rating level for significant developments. There is an atrium for Yoga, a room for meditation, a 24/7 medical centre, an ATM and eateries.

• Yes. The campus life at IIMU is vital and active, with many student clubs and committees. Functional and professional clubs, cultural clubs, sports and hobby clubs, social outreach – IIMU has it all. Several student-run cells and committees also facilitate activities throughout the year. Students can explore their interests and passions, develop life-long bonds and relationships and hone their leadership skills.

• The eligibility norms for PhD are decided by the respective universities/institutions and may vary. You may like to confirm this directly with the respective university/ institution. As far as pursuing a PhD at IIM Udaipur is concerned, those who have completed this program are considered eligible to apply.

• Any full-time work experience where an employee works with an employer full-time and gets compensated will count as full-time work experience. When requested, please submit the relevant payslips to the Admission Office.
• Please note that any work experience, such as, apprenticeship/internship/part-time/project work/ articleship, while pursuing a graduation program will not be counted as work experience.

• The Institute has Executive Accommodation for married students. Only the spouses of the married program participants are eligible to stay in the Executive Accommodation. If you desire to avail of this facility, you need to apply for such a facility after securing admission to the program. The Admissions office will write to all the candidates admitted to the program sometime in February/ March to check if they are interested in availing of this facility. Married accommodations will be allotted based on availability.

Accommodation for the spouse is provided with the following conditions:

• Married accommodation is in the same building as the other One-year MBA program participants. These are the same executive rooms available to One Year MBA program participants.
• The program participant must bear the charges for the accommodation and mess for the spouse.
• The charge is Rs. 250 per day for less than one month of stay.
• The charge is Rs. 5,000 per month for stay of one month and above.
• Children will not be permitted to stay in such facilities at any time.
• Food charges must be paid directly to the vendor based on actual consumption.
• An additional bed with a mattress, one set of bedsheets and a pillow with cover will be provided.
• A recent passport-size colour photograph should be submitted to the program's office to enable the issue of an IIMU identity card for the spouse.
• Self-attested copies of the marriage certificate and photo ID proof (for example, voter ID, PAN Card, etc.) of the spouse should be submitted to the program's office.
• In the interest of safety, cooking is not allowed inside the room. However, the individual may use the pantry facility.
• Washing machines and other common facilities may also be used by the spouse.

• A distance education degree is valid. However, the applicant has to make sure that such a degree is awarded by a University or educational institution which is incorporated by an Act of Parliament or State Legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

• Yes, the candidate is eligible to apply for both programs. However, the candidate must finish the first program application before moving on to the second.
